Conference Parking & Directions

Presenters, Conference Guests and Committee Members:

The conference opening will be in the New Physical Education Building.  You can park in lot G (behind the football stadium).  You will need to print and bring the attached parking pass with you to park in Parking Lot G.   Parking is not permitted in any other campus parking lot. 

Presenter and Guest check-in will take place in the lobby of the New Physical Education Building.

Conference Exhibitors and College Representatives:

The conference opening and the College/Career Fair will be in the New Physical Education Building.  You can park in Lot G (behind the Football Stadium).  A parking pass is not needed although parking is not permitted in any other campus parking lot.

We are asking that you check in in room 108 of the NPE Building (there will be a check in table for exhibitors) prior to setting up your table.  Check in and Set-up will be between 9:00 – 9:50am in the New Physical Education Building/Rm 108 so that you can be ready for the first session at 10:00am.  The sessions will run from 10:00am -1:50pm.  Students will be assigned to visit the college/career fair continuously throughout this time, with the exception of a lunch break from 12-12:50pm.  We will be providing lunch for up to two representatives, unless you purchased additional lunches.  We expect at least 1500 students to attend the conference, so please make sure you bring enough materials.

Directions to WOU:

Directions to campus: Interstate 5 Northbound: Take Exit 228 (Corvallis/Highway 34W).  Follow Highway 34W for approximately nine miles to Corvallis.  As you approach Corvallis, merge into the right lane.  After crossing the bridge over the Willamette River you will take a right onto 3^rd Street/99W and follow the signs to Monmouth.    Continue on 99W for approximately 20 miles until you reach Monmouth.  Take a left onto Main Street.  Continue on Main Street to Monmouth Avenue (this is a 4-way light) and take a right onto Monmouth Avenue. (To get to Parking Lot G, you will want to take a left on Jackson (the first stop after you turn onto Monmouth Ave) and a right onto Stadium Drive.  The Parking Lots will be on your right just before you get to Church Street).

Interstate 5 Southbound: Take Exit 260A (Salem Parkway) and follow the Parkway into Salem until it merges left into Commercial Street.  Continue on Commercial and follow this street to Marion Street. Turn right on Marion, and as you cross the bridge, merge into the left lane.  You will be on Highway 22.  Continue on Highway 22 approximately 10 miles to Exit #16 (Monmouth/McMinnville exit).  Exit to the right onto the over pass, turn right and merge onto Highway 99W.  Continue approximately five miles and take a right on Main Street.  Follow Main Street to Monmouth Avenue (this is a 4-way light) and take a right onto Monmouth Avenue.  (To get to Parking Lot G, you will want to take a left on Jackson (the first stop after you turn onto Monmouth Ave) and a right onto Stadium Drive.  The Parking Lots will be on your right just before you get to Church Street).
